According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain have submitted a contract to Julián Álvarez (24) in order to convince the Manchester City man to join the Ligue 1 champions.   

The Manchester City striker is open to leaving the Premier League this summer in search of more playing time, Fabrizio Romano reports. Les Parisiens have opened talks with the Manchester club over a potential deal to find out if a move for the Argentina striker is possible. 

City are set to command a potential fee of between €70m and €80m for the world cup winner if a move were to materialise. Luis Enrique has given the green light for the move and would welcome the addition of Álvarez to his playing squad. PSG are hoping to bolster their attacking line following the departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid. It remains to be seen whether the former River Plate striker would be keen on a move to Ligue 1 this summer.
