According to La Provence, Olympique de Marseille are losing patience in their pursuit of Youssoufa Moukoko (19) after three offers have been declined by Borussia Dortmund for the young striker.
Marseille had hoped to convince Dortmund to part with the teenager on a loan deal with an option to buy. However, the German club have been unmoved by Marseille’s need to spread out their payments after a summer spent revitalising their squad with seven transfers (so far).
Despite the amount of incoming players, Marseille are in desperate need of bringing in a striker following the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (35). The Gabonese international had been the one player that Marseille hoped not to lose.
